Where to Find: Mt. Charleston area. In Kyle Canyon, they used to roost in a dead tree adjacent to the public library (across the main road from the fire station), but the tree was cut down in 2007. Check the tops of other tall dead trees in the area.

Comments: The "Band-tailed Pigeon Tree," which used to be in Kyle Canyon just across the street from the fire station, was designated a "hazard tree" and cut down.
